I bought a pack of 10 brand new granny knickers.. and then added some old faithfuls for good measure.

1- Wish I had told bi#ch of a midwife to go f#ck herself.
2 - Wish I had made a formal complaint about bi#ch midwife.
3 - Wish I had stayed on my feet more.
4 - Wish I hadn't had peth shot.
5 - Wish I had been more relaxed.
Thats about it.

That someone comes around the hospital and takes professional photos of your new baby. I would have taken my wedding ring in for her other toe and put her in a cute outfit and headband- alas we had no idea about this!

I wish I had known that contractions would not hurt as much if I was up and dancing.
I wish I had known that pethedine makes bubs heart rate slow down - this lead to my emergency caesar.
I wish I knew about the benefits of pear juice when it came to constipation, so much more effective for me than metamucil or lactulose
I am glad that I fought for and got a vbac second time, but wish I'd put more effort into stretching things out, because I ended up with a third degree tear.

Wish I had known that after pains would hurt almost as much as the labor itself and not been so naive to think that once the baby is out I would be pain free.
That pushing was the best part. It gave me an outlet for the pain. That crowning wasn't that bad after all so I needn't be afraid of it.

I found the not pushing harder than the pushing, didn't even notice crowning. I agree pushing gave relief.
The tenderness afterwards from stitches etc was almost worst cause it will go on and on....

That after manually turning the baby didn't work and my options were given - I wish I had chosen C/S.
