    Default Volunteering

    Hi All,

I have been trawling the internet trying to find a specific organisation that offers assistance to mothers and families living with perinatal depression and anxiety.

I am a mother of two who has experienced severe post natal depression and anxiety after the birth of my second child. I am still recovering (my second is 9 months old) but consider myself back to "normal"

I tried calling PANDA http://www.panda.org.au/ but they are located in Melbourne and you need to attend a volunteer orientation course. I rang them and they suggested I contact Tresillian.

I would like to offer a few hours a week of my time to talk to any mothers/fathers who are struggling with PND/Anxiety.

    Any ideas???

    Thanks!

It is very frustrating isn't it.....there is so much on the internet but finding somebody to talk to face to face or over the phone is so difficult.
