I say go with whatever works . A friend of mine says you just have to find their currency and you can get them to do anything
My first dd at 6.5 still will not touch lollies or chocolate (she doesn't like them, strange child!) but sticker charts work well for her.
My second dd however can spot sugar from miles away so smarties worked really well for her!!
