    Default Australian must sees

Ok so we are going to take some time and travel. We are going to buy a caravan type thing and just spend a few months maybe 6 to travel around Australia. Since we home school anyway we plan to take the time and travel so where should we go and what must we see?

Mataranka (sp?) springs in NT. amazing and there is a caravan/camping ground attached and not much else. It's so beautiful and amazing that something like that is in the middle of the desert! Loved it!

Byron bay and surrounds ( northern NSW) is very nice.
I think tassie would be awesome to travel around- never been there personally but have heard it's absolutely beautiful.

If your van is off road capable or well set up then definitely the Gibb River Road, mataranka, Lake Argyle, Broome, Uluru, Darwin. We did it in 8 weeks so you could easily do it with several months. A must see
