DS has the Lego games - Lego Batman, Lego Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones etc.

He thinks they are the ants pants.

As well as Mario Kart and Super Mario.

Educational hmmm, I can't think of any as they are on his iPad but I am sure you can get them.

Also, if you go to places like EB Games Store you can usually get second hand games for half the price of new ones, and eBay.

My 5 year old plays all the mario and zelda games, moshi monsters, rayman and rabbids games, pokemon games. He plays others but those ones are probably his favourites. I don't think we really have anything in the way of educational games on DS.

Bumping as my 5 year old DD just got one for Christmas and she can only play one of the games we got her which is good but she will grow out of very quick (peppa pig). The tinkerbell one seems way too hard with a lot of reading which means I have to help her so she cracks it haha! I don't really care if they're Educational or not she just needs something to play on it!

    Thanks everyone.

I bought ds 3 games with his ds to start with. Spiderman which is good and he has worked it all out except the only thing is whenever I put the game in and start it it shows something different, can't actually get back to the game, it's doing my head. There must be a trick to it that I haven't worked out yet. I bought him pictionary which is a little advanced as he has to spell so probably later in the year he may be better with that one and one called generation Rex which is too easy and boring for him.

I just bought him a Diego one which someone recommended and angry birds which he played on a display in the shop so I know he will be ok with that one.
