Default What helped you move on?

I think I'm about to be single again it already hurts... What helped you move on? Hurt less? That kind of thing

Sounds silly and frivolous, but getting a new or fresh hairstyle/colour and buying new clothes. New year: new you! Hugs OP. it's not easy but usually it's for the best

Grieving helped me. Spent a week as a zombie then I got better. (That was after a five year relationship)
This time around it was by having close friends who have me hugs and company. I hope you don't end up single and everything works out for you, we're all here if you need to talk

All of the above... But really, time. Once I was able to see my ex objectively I realised he's not as cool and awesome as u thought he was. He had/has plenty of faults and I needed much more from the relationship than I got.

What was the aspect of your partner that you 'accepted'.

Looking at that in a new light can be an amazing source of amusement

Time & being able to look at things objectively.

I thought I knew my exs downfalls ( cheater, liar, uses "soft" drugs, out all the time ")

5 yrs on I realise those downfalls were the least of my worries

In 5 yrs time how you feel right now will be a distant memory, promise xx

Thats a good one Mama and her little bear. To be honest focusing on my health and weightloss did help tremendously.

Getting a life. I love going to museams, I love hosting dinner parties and board games which the ex thought was the most boring thing on the planet. I started Pilates and enrolled uni

Focusing on myself for a change, making the extra effort to pamper myself, retail therapy but most of all time
