Default AF late after failed cycle

We had a failed ICSI cycle recently where AF showed up before the blood test. We are having one natural cycle before we start the next ICSI cycle and I'm just waiting on AF to show up again. She was due Monday and I've done a couple of tests which were negative, is it normal for the first cycle after IVF to be delayed?

Hi Maggie, I'd say it is pretty normal for your af to be a little out of sorts after a failed icsi, my cycle is usually 28 days but after our first fail it was 31 days and last month after our second fail it was all over the place, 42 days in the end but had a little bit of bleeding at day 21. I figured it's a sign that my body needs a break. Give yourself time, you don't want to be rushing into the next cycle unless your body is really ready. I know, easier said than done hey. At least we have Chrissy as a distraction to pass the time :-) Best of luck with your next cycle :-)

Thanks girls for your responses. I guess I should be happy I might not have to deal with AF while staying with the in laws!
