MCB, hope the blood tomorow can shed some light on whats going on.

J, I'm a soft victorian as well, it got to 42 in Geelong today and we are normaly a couple degrees lower than Melb thanks to being on the coast.

Have a Q for those that check cervical position....Does high and soft tends to suggest O has or is about to occur? I've been checking it for about a week now and it was low/firm on Sat, went to med/soft last couple of days and today I couldn't reach it so was wondering if that's what it ment.

    Hope everyone is staying cool

Yep high, soft and open means your ovulating. I O'ed on cd19 and on cd18,19&20 my cervix was HSO, then it's slowly come back down.

    Hey DarkNStormy,

I've read that if the cervical position is low and hard you're not ovulating, once it starts getting soft and high you're approaching O and if you can't feel it you could well be ovulating :-)

    What Sevven said haha

    VENT... Completely TTC unrelated.

I just lost 4hrs of my life trying to work out the maths behind making a full length circle skirt. Ugh. I hate maths and the only pie I like is the one you can eat.

Needless to say. My brain hurts and I still haven't made a single cut or sewn a single stitch into this so called 'amazing skirt' I was determined to make today.

    Vent over. Thankyou. : )

Bugger MWL, wish you had said something earlier, I made a full length double circle skirt for DD1 earlier this year and have a pattern for an adults circle skirt so could have just given you the measurements

Oooh DarknStormy Id be interested in that, Ive been wanting to make DD some skirts - even bought material the other day! Because she is so skinny, now that she is toilet trained none of her pants / skirts (even adjustable waist!) stay up!! She is 3 and Ive had to put her back to size 1, even some of those shorts are big

My kids are the same, DD1 is almost 8 and can still wear size 5 (she is also a shortie ) DS who is 11 is still wearing size 8 boardies and I've only just let the waists out (darts can be a lifesaver) and looks like DD2 will be the same (she still can't wear size 2 bottoms even with a nappy) I will get my pattern out tomorrow and I can either post you a copy or give you the measurements if your in a hurry. The original pattern has 6 different skirts to choose from

Tks ladies! Had some 2min noodles and rang mum (seamstress mother always comes in handy) and voila. Project makes sense. It's all underway now and should be finished in the morning. I think making it full length was the confusing part cause I had to make two half circles and join them instead.

Im making an infinity dress like the ones pictured but I'm not quite as hot as the girls and mines is in a gorgoeus olive green. Full length and you can wear it a squillion different ways! So excited to have a cocktail dress I can play around with and mix it up a little.

    xx

Default TTC and not wanting to move #6

    Hi all,

Been away for a long time. Just popping my head in to say hi and congrats to all the BFPs and commiserations to all those still wading through the TTC pool!

I am 7 days past my third IUI and last before we move to ivf.

Really hoping I get good news in 8 days time because it's been a rough journey.

The first cycle ended in a chemical and the second was just plain unsuccessful. This one started off with an especially large follie (so hopefully a very healthy egg) and some super sperm from a new donor - 86% motility and something like 100 million sperm. So hopefully it's worked.

I've given up on symptom spotting as the Crinone is giving me sore boobs and strange CM. I'm not testing, just waiting for my blood test.

I've had on and off O like cramps since 5dpo, but they could be anything!

Anyway hope everyone is well- kind of sad how few people there are left, but obviously good news too
