Lightbulb Paid Parental Leave and Family Tax Benefit Part A

Hi everyone, I am a first time mum to be, my baby is due in March next year. I am planning to submit my Paid Parental Leave online very soon but I have a question in mind on how to apply for Family Tax Benefit Part A?

Is this automatically accessed while I submit my PPL application? or shall I lodge a separate application for Family Tax Benefit Part A.

    Please guide me, thanks

Default Paid Parental Leave and Family Tax Benefit Part A

They are separate as many people who are eligible for PPL are not eligible for FTB.

And when I did my PPL application online I'm almost certain I saw a link to a separate FTB one.
