We have a house inspection tomorrow (I live with ex, and his mate). We decided mate would clean the walls/get rid of dust cobwebs on the stair roof, ex would vacuum and I would mop. Mate has slept all day and probably has forgotten he has a job to do. Ex started vacuuming and I was so happy because he never cleans. Ever. So I decided when I heard the vacuum stop to start mopping the kitchen and entrance area... and he hadn't vacuumed it. So I got the vacuum from the loungeroom floor where he left it to find it full, so I emptied it and vacuumed then mopped. Went to walk upstairs and saw the stairs were still unvacuumed so I did those and put the cleaner away. Came upstairs and it's all still dirty too... WHAT THE HECK DID HE SPEND AN HOUR VACUUMING IF EVERYTHING IS STILL SUPER DIRTY?!

Re: Cleaning Rant
I would only be cleaning my room and dumping the vac in exs room... then waking up the 'mate' to do their share!

Haha they're useless I know, I've lived with ex for years and his mate is I swear always out of it. The house is mostly clean I just don't get how ex was vacuuming for an hour and it's still dirty??

Hmmm I'd guess and say he switched it on and walked away to do other stuff. So you think he's vacuumed.

because he doesn't understand about emptying a vacuum? Got frustrated because it wasn't working and gave up? How about nicely saying that you emptied it and now it will work better he will probably admit that he didn't know why it wasn't working properly? If he never cleans he genuinely might not know.
As for the other one, I would probably get reported for saying ...

He ended up saying he focused only on by the walls because 'it was dirty there' *rolls eyes* haha oh well there's only the upstairs hallway to do so it's not that hard to get done.
And with the mate he's not disabled or on drugs he's just one of those gamer guys who's messed himself up so much by never sleeping that he's just weird he's awake now so I assume he'll clean tonight during game breaks.
