I would be returning it and getting a replacement.

I brought DF the red one that only came out for 1 weekend and he loves it. We only brought it because our nespresso machine broke after 18 months of daily use We have tried every strength to find the right one. The Chai Latte is lovely. and the hot chocolate is quite nice. It great because it can fit a few different types of pods. As they say you can't compare apples with pears. We had quite a large budget for a coffee machine and when Df went and tried different ones out when they have their coffee days etc at the good guys df was like it didn't taste great etc. My brother in law has a $1,500 coffee machine that takes beans and he finds it is so much of a pain to to keep clean. when he used a aldi one he found it super easy to clean.

I highly recommend the Aldi Coffee Machine. We don't care if it breaks or something happens to it for the price. where as before we had the aldi coffee machine and we had the nespresso machine which broke after 18 months of daily use.
we brought the aldi milk frother too and the kids love having baby chinos.

Love the Aldi coffee machine! Its all I use now!

Oh and you cant use the nespresso pods in the aldi machine as they are a different size. You can use the Map pods which you can buy at Office works and other places.

I drink decafe and its freakin awesome!

You need to buy descaling solution. You then put 100ml of the solution plus 400ml of water in the water tank then you push the water button til it all runs through. Then rinse out water tank throughly, fill all the way to the top and run all that clean water through the system. System descaled!
