    Default Next generation fertility anyone?

Hi me and DH have been ttc for 4 years not and i have never been pregnant. (1 chemical pregnancy suspected) I have a rare condition called unicornuate uterus. I was referred to next gen fertility today. I have been looking and only found 1 person who has been given clomid from them and it was only 3 cycles.

They seem to just jump in the deep end with IVF , ICIS and all that. Im wanting to try Clomid 1st has anyone been with them and been given clomid and if so how many cycles

I did 2 clomid cycles with them before ivf. Could also have done iui in between but I opted to go straight to ivf. My FS was dr Benny. Good luck

I think FS had 3 cycles in mind but I pushed for ivf as I ovulated like clockwork on my own every month so I didn't think clomid was going to solve my issue.
I think if you make an appt and speak to your FS about what you'd like to try they are all pretty agreeable from my experience. I walked in every appt saying 'I'd like to try this next" and usually got it!
If you have more questions about ngf let me know

Sarahlouise2009.... we were at NGF and had 2 unsuccessful IVF/ICSI cycles with them, before we worked out that we need to see a MIF specialist to do micro-dissection that they don't do at NGF. We wished that someone had told us that as soon as we got to NGF and didn't waste our time there. The two specialists we saw there, Dr Matthews and Dr Benny, were both lovely and caring, but my point is to do lots of research and phonecalls and be as informed as you can about what you want.

Haven't used clomid but I have used Next Gen before & they were great, currently pregnant with my 2nd through them. I'm sure if you speak to them they would be happy to accommodate you

I'm the same, haven't used clomid but saw Kim at Next Gen. After 4 cycles we had success, baby girl born November just gone. First appointment for us Kim suggested straight to IVF as we'd been trying with no success for so many years. Your circumstance is very different to mine though, I'm sure if you push for Clomid they'll go with what you want.

Best of luck to you, I hope you have success quickly, IVF is such an emotionally draining time.

My BFF did six clomid rounds with a previous doc at ngf who is no longer there...no BFp then Did ivf and got bfp first go.....if u really want something ask for it and stick to your guns....I guess they are so used to seeing desperate ppl and know the odds are higher with ivf that they feel compelled to try it but u are within your rights to ask for the treatment u want .....as long as u know the stats and they have explained it to u in your circumstance I can't see why they wouldn't give u what u wanted. Good luck.

All you can do is ask them i found dr kim Matthews very reasonable. i haven't used clomid as she directed us straight to Icsi due mfi. As the previous poster said odds are higher with IVF. Best of luck. I higher rate Ngf as they have given me two gorgeous boys.
