    Default Doctors, Oby and bloods

Just curious what to do, I've booked in with my Oby tentatively for the 7th week ( likes to do date scan) he said he can do all bloods. I've booked hcg bloods next week and to get my referral extended with my normal doctors office ( can't see my doctor she is fully booked a week out!!!) so seeing another doctor. Just wondering should I bother? I can go back and get referral at a later date. How important is hcg blood tests

I wouldn't bother. You know you're pregnant right? So what's a hcg test going to tell you? Or is there another reason for a test?

Clear blue and first response have confirmed. No other reason to test other than curiosity to see how much they are doubling lol. Referral runs out in May so plenty of time to get new referral

I never had a hcg test in 2 pregnancies but it is worth having your immunity tested for things like whooping cough, rubella etc.

Thanks mummy J I had that before and they were all good, so maybe that's the tests he said he would do next month.

My Dr only did HCG bt just to see "how pregnant I was"
    I'm booked in to see ob/gyn 14 Jan which I'll be 11+5.
I have had all the other blood tests done too and they came back fine.

A hpt is usually done with all obys it is to check how high your levels are and to make sure they are rising properly
