Well my girls names end the same but the first few letters are nothing alike. Nic names nothing alike. Some people would thing we matched them deliberately but we honestly didn't. In fact DD#1 actually chose their names.

If people are choosing different names for twins is there a theme like calling one something that means day and the other night or something like this or no theme?

    Default Twin names

Umm, no. That would be beyond dreadful. They are two different people! They don't need to go their ENTIRE lives being defined as twins in that way.

We were very tempted to call our daughter a "stone" (ruby, amber, crystal) after calling our son Jasper. But in the end decided not to.

I think though for siblings it's a bit odd if they have hugely different names. Like.... Archibald Maxwell Smith brother of Jett Smith.

I would like them to "flow" together well like any siblings but absolutely no rhyming. That is cruel.

Amy and Hayley are lovely and go together beautifully without being too matchy or rhyming.
