    Default Kia carnival ,your views.

Hi , we have 3 big children squashed into the back of a Forrester .... It's far too small now and I'm getting my hands stuck and hurt trying to clip them in!
We went on holiday recently and hired a Kia carnival. I loved it it was so spacious but we only had it four days . I'm going to try and push husband to get us one when we are a bit more financially ok ..... BUT can you tell me pros and cons if you have one as four days cannot really give us a proper look into how they go.
Our Forrester is super reliable and we would have no probs with keeping it if we only had two but with three its horrid when melt downs occur. The other day my oldest had a freak out in the car and strangled me with the seat belt for about ten minutes.... That's when i decided in the Kia he would be way back in his own spacious chair and I would be free with my music and coffee .... Ha ha
So tell me you honest reviews , are they really a great car ?

Also I'm the worlds worst Parker ....... Terrible .... Would the Kia cause a problem there.

    Thanks!

    babynomad,

This may be a old thread i am reviving, however others may find this useful.

The kia grand carnival is a dream come true for families. It has so much space and comfort. The middle row seats are individual chairs and they could all be removed too. The boot is huge and easily fits our double twin pram and another single toddler pram; with heaps more space for luggage / shopping.

There are few negatives that i have to mentioned; for you to make an informed decision. It is not a quiet car, the wind noise from both the front driver and passenger seat is louder than any other car i have driven. I have asked about this to kia; and got a reply saying it is standard characteristics of such a car... i fail to understand how an annoying wind noise could be a characteristic... anyway.

Apart from the above, i have nothing else against the car. There are so many positive; i have simply not seen another car with same internal space and boot space.

We just bought our Kia grand carnival and I totally agree with everything above. I love the space, it's just what we needed and we spent ages researching. There really is no other car like it. As for parking and reversing we have sensors on ours but we are also getting a reversing camera installed for peace of mind.
