    Default Menstral Bracelets?

NO way! First thought is WTF? Eew

I would have died of embarrassment if someone had given me one of these - I still would.

While I'm all for her being educated and aware of her body, I'd hate for her to be misinformed and have to deal with an unwanted pregnancy of STI.
That is a very good point. I didn't think of that.

I think it is a good idea as a rough guide but to divide it up into sections other than period and non period times ie ovulation etc is a bit much I think. As JR said, they could think they won't get pregnant if they avoid the"danger zone".

I don't know any teenage girls I could imagine appreciating a menstrual bracelet. I know I certainly would not have.

All the beads should be black... Indicating times of the month that she is not allowed to have sex! Lol!

I'm going to go against the grain and say that I love the idea. What a positive way to teach my daughter about periods.I dislike the fact that so many women are so ashamed of the menstural cycle. I think that it is something to celebrate.I will also celebrate when my son comes of age as well. Probley when his voice changes will be a good indication.

It sounds like something my Mum would have bought/made me

I got earrings instead, but they weren't educational (everything was explained in great detail using other methods).

I doubt I would use them or buy them for my daughter if I had one.
