    Default Giving baby water?

No water before 6 months, ff or bf, is the guideline. Can be dangerous.

I know I got water as a baby, but I was jaundiced and I think that's why I was given it.

I have always given water to my babies, but like 10 mls at a given time, which they wouldn't drink all anyways... mainly when unsettled, the water helped I found with there tummy, I never had any issue with it, and they are perfectly healthy kids... At the end of the day its your choice

I recall reading that some European countries routinely give babies a tiny bit of water in hospital after they are born. I don't recall which countries.
