We have our name down for a Cane Corso puppy due Christmas Day. Unfortunately we had to put our 9 year 8 month old Pedigree Rotti down a week ago from bone cancer. We knew we would always have a dog in the house but knew we could never replace our first born with another Rotti. I was reading the thread about how much you paid for your dog and telling DH about some of the breeds mentioned. Well, he instantly fell in love with the Cane Corsos you mentioned and by fluke came across a breeder here in WA who was expecting.

Oh how fabulous!!!! I think they are beautiful dogs, my SIL sister has one and he is divine, clever like a Rotti but also protective but a big sook at heart!! Make sure you post some pics when you get him (or her?)

We are second pick for a boy if there is 2.
The more reading we do about them the happier and more excited we both are.
We'll never forget our first born, our Rotti, but our home isn't complete without a beast to follow me around.

We did. OMG he is a gorgeous pain in the butt but we couldn't be happier. We picked him up mid February and he has instantly become part of the family.

How exciting for you. Where is your breeder located?
Do you have a preference for a male or female?

    He's so cute!!!!
Breeder is in Rossmore ( south west Sydney - Itacor)
I've always had male dogs but i am thinking female? DH wants male but we have both decided we want a blue coloured puppy so we will wait and see what sex the blue pups are! Are you happy with getting a boy ? How is he with the kids? Hard to train ? I have so many questions!!!

    Hi, *waves*!
We too have a beautiful Cane Corso puppy, who is 15 weeks now, named Tana.
She is absolutely beautiful, such a lovely girl, easily excited though! She is great with the kids, however can see her knocking them over as she gets bigger!
She has just had her last lot of injections so we will be able to take her for walks soon, have been practicing around the yard so she knows who is in charge
Will take some pics later and share, she has grown loads since we got her.
