    Default Baked cheesecake recipes

I swear by this recipe for a New York cheesecake from Taste.com. Not a huge liver of cheesecake but I love this.

Most amazing baked cheesecake I've made / eaten is the Donna Hay Blueberry Swirl one. It is DIVINE, but takes a long time as you have to push berries through a sieve for what feels like hours. It's in her modern classics desserts book, but I'm sure you could find it online somewhere. It's so creamy and luscious and I love that because its baked it doesn't need gelatin; I find that chilled cheesecakes taste like gelatin which grosses me out a bit.

Oh and with the Donna hay one, she uses almond meal and stuff for her base; I just use butter and ground up Arnotts Nice biscuits :-)

The recipes for baked sour cream cheesecakes look delicious!! Going to have to try them out very soon

My favorite baked cheesecake is the baked chocolate cheesecake by Nigella:
    http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/n...ipe/index.html

It's a bit of chocolate overload but definitely one for the chocolate lovers! I always get compliments and requests for the recipe when I make it. It will usually crack but the glaze/sauce over the top hides the cracks. Also I usually use digestive biscuits or choc ripples instead of graham crackers for the base, and substitute golden syrup for corn syrup in the glaze. It tastes great on its own but a bit of raspberry coulis or fresh raspberries on the side really dresses it up for a special occasion.
