Default Finding out the gender at 13 weeks

I'm 13 weeks pregnant and yesterday had an ultrasound and my doctor told me he was 98% sure I'm having a boy! I was just wondering how accurate they can be that early. Any story's?

Two friends - both told at 12 week scan they were having boys. One had a boy, the other a girl.

I had my nt scan at 12+5, the sonographer said bub was a girl, I had another ultrasound at 15+5, 19+2 and both times the sonographer said girl. She's due late march so we're not 100% sure that they're correct but I'm guessing 3 different sonographers wouldn't have gotten it wrong on 3 different occasions.

A friend of mine was told at her 12 scan that she was having a boy, and she beleived them...although she was already fairly certain about it as her hubby has not had a girl born in the family for 8 generations!

Sure enough, little boy arrived 6 months later
