    Default C-section scar infected

Hey I had a c-section two weeks ago and I think my cut is becoming infected. Is there anything I can put on it? Or will I need to go to doctors?
    TIA

Go to the doctors ASAP. I had horrible complications from an infection which resulted in a long hospital stay and a lot of pain.

Go to the doctor. I have had 2 c sections. My first had a small lump form that filled with puss, I was put on antibiotics which cleared it up.

Air the wound as much as possible and I found bathing it with warm salty water(sea salt not table salt) instantly made it feel so much better. But definately go to the doctor.

I put dettol antiseptic cream on my wound (because i panicked) and went back to the hospital straight away. TMI but i put a panty liner in the front of my knickers and it was soaked with pus - and getting on my skirt by the time i got to the hospital! The dettol drew most of the infection out (which was good!) and my OB said that cream was fine to use, she also prescribed a course of antibiotics.

Definitely do not leave it or self treat, go back to the dr to make sure it's not a more deep or serious infection.

Straight to Dr ASAP. It can get really nasty very quickly. Mine split and had puss and I also covered it with a maternity pad until I got to the doctor. It also allowed the doctor to see how much puss there was and kept my clothes from rubbing on it.

Definitely straight back to the doctor! Mine opened up at one end and was infected, I had to spend 2 nights in hospital on IV antibiotics to get on top of it.

If it is hot or red or just doesn't feel right please go get it checked. Good luck!
