I am curious to know how other single mummies/daddies handle special occasions?
Eg birthdays and Christmas does your child alternate between houses or do you share them on the day?
Hope you can help, we are in the process of mediation and I am trying to jot down some thoughts before I attend the meeting tomorrow!
Thanks in advance x

We try to spend Xmas and children's birthdays all together as a 'family'.
I know that doesn't work for very one but it's the best option for us (not always fun though!).

Depends on your relationship and what the other parents wants too.
FOB and I are on good terms but DS usually spends Christmas day and his actual birthday with me. In the past we have had a 'one big family' type thing which was fine, but these days we just seem to work it out between ourselves as to who would prefer DS on the days.
