Default Looking for a new "Stage 3" formula - suggestion please :)

    Hiya

I'm looking at changing my lo Stage 3 formula.
I'm currently using karricare aptimal gold + stage 3.... I'm unhappy with it for numerous reasons.
We have always used karricare aptimal gold + (dd was mixed fed from birth - 6months) then just ff from 6months... No problem with the other stages.

I am looking for suggestion of other brands (I know each bub is different, but would like to save some time and $$$ getting people's opinions, instead of trying every brands to find the best!)

    I have 2 main concerns -
    1. this stage 3 makes my lo VERY constipated (its definitely the formula - and has now been put on a "laxative" like syrup, which is meant to be safe for long term use, but I'm a bit weary using if long term!)

    2. I have found this formula very sticky (although they state no added ____ sugar, the table sugar can remember its name)
Once calling karricare aptimal, iv been informed it does infact contain extra sugar! But not a "dangerous" sugar (ie table sugar)
Also have a few other issues (but they petty and don't want to waste everyone's time writing them! )

    Sorry it's so long!
    And Thankyou

*** I have also recently posted another topic about weather to stay on formula or change to cows milk, and for now iv decided to stay on formula***

Bellamys organic toddler is meant to be good - my DS had it only for about 2 months before he stopped formula all together but I had no problems at all with it

We use Nan pro gold 3 and it works great for us. Pretty expensive. All kids are different though! Good luck! xx

I never changed off stage 1. DD is 15 months now and still has it for her 1 bottle a day. I tried stage 2 and it made her reflux worse so I just stuck with 1. It's Heinz nurture.

There is really no reason to change formulas. You could just go back to stage 2 if you want.
