    Default Bishops Score is 0

I'm 39 weeks tomorrow with my 3rd pregnancy. My obsterician did a VE this afternoon and gave me a Bishops Score of 0.

Who else has had a low Bishops Score at 39 weeks and how quickly did it change for you?

From memory I think mine was around 1 at 40 weeks. I had my bub at 42 weeks and internals right up to a couple of days before hand. There were no signs of anything happening - then one day my waters broke and it was game on

dont worry too much, our bodies are fantastic... Things can change very very quickly.

best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy and the birth

I'd had a bishops score of 0 at 41 wks with dd1. Not sure how it changed but when I went to be induced at 42wks I was 4cm dilated and then it was ok.

A good ob will not induce of your bishops score is 0.

Prob googling will give you the best info but its a score for how favourable your cervix is for induction, you get points for things like position, effacement etc

You could have a low bishop score and still go into labour naturally - but the lower the score the less likely for induction to succeed
