As a child I wanted to be a comedian and as a teen an actor. I got quite serious about it but after a couple of harsh rejections in my late teens I gave up on it completely.

I don't have a career really, I've just meandered around the different facets of the hospitality industry. I'm excellent at it and have thought seriously about starting a business but I couldn't handle the hours or gamble.

I write a lot and lately I've been thinking about trying to make it a more directed part of my life. We'll see.

I wanted to be an archaeologist when i was younger. I even used to dig in the gardens (found $2 once )

My main passion was to be a Vet/Vet Nurse. I worked as a Vet nurse for a while. Id love to do it again.

Now I want to be a Lactation Consultant.

When I was 11 i wanted to be an author... no idea why as I wasn't a very good writer lol. then by 15 I wanted to be a physiotherapist, studied 2 science subjects for my hsc but 2 weeks before i sat hsc exams I decided I wanted to be a childcare worker (did that for 5 years) and then moved on to teaching which is where I am now. i would like to work as a play therapist in hospitals, just not sure how to get there yet

Default What did u want to be when u grew up?

    I wanted to be:

    - a barrister for criminal law
    - a forensic scientist
    - a fighter pilot
    - an archeologist
    - a hair dresser

Lol none of which I am. Still thinking on the lines of law at this stage though or history teacher.

A mummy and/or a midwife, midwife thing will never happen now due to my own experiences. I worked in child care before having my own children I'd love to be a doula but I can't do that with hubby doing FIFO until the kids are capable of getting themselves off to school/dinner.

In primary school I wanted to be a horse whisperer.

In early high school I wanted to be a lawyer or doctor or just anything that made me 'successful' (mainly so I could say 'In yo face!!!' at the reunion, Romy and Michelle style).

In senior high school I wanted to be a high school drama and English teacher.

I am now studying to be a primary school teacher
