I am pregnant with my first and am 39 weeks, 1 day. At my last GP appointment Monday I was told the baby was still relatively high & my blood pressure was borderline for the first time, as I've always had great BP. So I've taken it easy this week for a change.
Today I've had an ache in my lower back that has been quite persistant and some more intense braxton hicks. While the BH are still fairly infrequent, some are actually getting kinda painful tonight and there seems to be a lot more pressure in my pelvis. I also feel really queasy in the stomach all day.
I've been suffering from Pelvic girdle pain for the past 2 weeks and it was actually a lot better the last few days but today that's really bad again too.
Does this sound like the baby is just getting into position or could it potentially be the very early stage of labour?
