    Default Racing heart

    Hi ladies

Just wanted to see if this happened to others. My heart races a lot during the day! Especially after I've ate but can happen whenever. When I'm trying to sleep it is so loud and pounding! Does this sound familiar??

    Default Racing heart

    Hi
I got that in my first trimester for few weeks..it went away after a few weeks & I've had my baby just 11 weeks ago.
If it doesn't it might be worth getting your doc to send you for an ECG

I had that very early on when I was about 5-6 weeks. I think it might be to do with rising progesterone levels..

Hey I have this pretty much constantly I am 9 weeks.
My ob found out I have a heart murmur the other day and I am getting an echo done in a few weeks.
If it bothers you, get it checked out although from what I have read it is normal due to the extra blood in our bodies during pregnancy

Yep, I have had this since 5 or so weeks, am now 20 and still get it a couple of times a day. In general my resting heartrate has gone up from around 65bpm to 80-85bpm, but when I check it when I get these racing episodes it's up around 90-105bpm. It probably wouldn't hurt to mention it to your healthcare provider so they can keep an eye on it.

I've had it a lot or really strong and heavy heart thumping. Started early preg about jan last year.

My daughters now 15 months and I still get it. But I've had an ECG Chest X-rays and it all seems fine.

I had it also in pregnancy and they told me it was because my heart is having to work a lot harder

I have this too and im 7 wks 1 day. I'm pretty sure I had it with my last two pregnancies also. I think it's because the blood is pumping harder therefore the heart would be too. But if your worried i would get it checked out.
