Default Do u have a cheap, HEALTHY recipe?

I want to cut down on my grocery bill so we have mote money to spend on fun outings, holidays, a new car and our new baby we are exoectig in may.
Do you have a cheap healthy meal?
I love to cook, and we are both healthy eaters. We eat lots of fresh food and very little packet food. Its only us and our 3yo (not a fussy eater, in fact he loves salad and spicy curries etc so I have no restrictions when it comes to cooking for my son)

    Any suggestions welcome!

    Subbing.
I make a few vegetarian dishes which may be considered cheap depending on what you are used to.

Tom yum soup is really cheap and healthy. I add some veg and an egg per person, sometimes some rice noodles. A large jar of the spice paste is about 3-4 at Asian grocery store, and makes about 20 meals.

Fried rice with egg and veg is cheap....
    I use cabbage, capsicum, broccoli,peas, corn,zuchinni.
Then i fry up a thin omelette and slice it up and add to the dish.
I flavour it with garlic, ginger, soy and kejap manis.

Another one I love is Chick Pea Curry with rice.

Anything with lentils or chickpeas, and if you soak your own rather than buy canned they are so cheap. How about a chickpea curry or veggie patties? I just usually look at the Taste website for inspiration.
