Default Advice needed about baby belly

My partner and I are 9 weeks pregnant, we are so excited as we have been ttc for 3 years..
Iv started to notice that my clothes are getting tighter and I'm starting to get a belly, for those who know about the pregnancy would notice but no one else would think anything.
I told my friend about my belly yesterday and all she kept saying was that I had to be carful.. That I'm not meant to start getting a belly until around 14 weeks... This has got me really worried..
I didn't think there was a 'right' time and that everyone's pregnancy was different..

Some advice would be really appreciated

It is different for everyone. I find I bloat early on but it settles and then I get a proper, noticeable baby belly around 20 weeks.
    Don't listen to your friend.

Careful of what exactly? I agree with MothersMilk .. don't listen to your friend. I started with a bloat tummy at only 6 weeks!

Careful of what? Lol! I know someone who had to start telling people because she looked around 20 weeks at 9 weeks!

Everyone is different, your belly is fine x

Pfft. Everyone is different. I'm like you. With ds1 I was noticeable before it even clicked I was pregnant. With ds2 I noticed my clothes were tight after a month. Please don't stress.

I agree. Dont worry. Im 29 weeks and keep getting told how 'tiny' I am... only recently got a 'bit' of a belly. But my baby is growing fine.

And who knows there may be twins in there for you!

We are all different and it drives me nuts that people comment on others bodies, pregnant or not!

Definitely no need to worry! I started bloating at 6 weeks but then it settled down and I finally got my belly after 20 weeks. You might notice a bit of extra padding around your tummy and hips early on, but that's just your body putting down extra fat reserves in preparation for breastfeeding.
