Default New mums in mernda/Doreen area?

    Hi there,
I am a new Mum (to a 3 week old girl) and am looking to meet other
new mums in the Mernda/Doreen area. I thought I would be put in a mothers group relatively quickly but have been told by my MHCN that I will have to wait until early next year. If anyone is in the same boat as me and is keen to meet up, I'd be keen to hear from you.
    Cheers, Mel

Hi try the raising Mums facebook page, it's a local facebook group and VERY supportive, it has hundreds of members and there's also independent playgroups, activity groups and social activities listed there - all in Doreen and Mernda. Good luck

Hi Mel, I know this is a few years later, Ive just moved to Doreen and was surprised there are no playgroups, I met a lovely mum's group through bub hub where I used to live in NSW so thought I would have a look on here and found your email. Have you found some other mums with similar aged kids? I have a 3.5 year old girl called Hollie and a 7 month old girl called Quinn. Would be great to meet some others mums here, I know no one! (We moved due to my husband getting a job here.)

Hi! Join the local mums page 'Raising mum network' they often run playgroups does your daughter like dancing? There's a great class on Friday mornings at the community centre that's really casual and fun
