Default Breaking the news of your BFP to DH or DP..

Hey ladies! We are 4DPO and i have a good feeling about this cycle. Feeling relaxed, calm and happy we have done all we can in order to increase our chances.

Its our 2yr anniversary coming up on the 28th November and I am waitnig to test until then. With a little luck we should have a BFP!

Just wondering what ways you told your DH or DP about your BFP news? I am considering putting a picture of the test into a card and writing something lovely about what a great dad he is? Should i keep it simple or get a bit creative?

    xx

I'm going with the card idea.
I'm also super shy in real life so having a picture and written words is sooo much easier for me haha

Love the idea of doing something thoughtful for daddy when you get a BFP. I unfortunately couldn't get rid of hubby when I POAS... I got stage fright and he still wouldn't go out because he was too excited! Damn not having a lockable toilet! Good luck ladies

I was too excited to hold out saying something... We had to get up early on the sat morning and I tested not expecting anything- the line was faint so immediately I called out 'ahhhh DH- can you come here please!' and showed him the test asking if he could see the line- he could!
It was such a nice exciting overwhelming moment that we shared together.. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Now I'm getting a message every hour asking how I'm feeling and if anything is happening cos I'm 39+2...

My hubby wasn't home, I was so excited that I messaged him a photo of the test to get his opinion lol... Such a stupid way of telling him!

I was home alone as DF was at work. I had a bunch of internet cheapies and I was so used to seeing them come up with one line that the first time I saw two I thought the test must be broken

I did three IC tests before deciding that perhaps they were all from a dodgy batch and I should go out and get a FR. FR also had 2 lines and by that time it wasn't even FMU.

When DF came home for lunch I showed him my collection of tests and asked him if I was imagining things

Hard to believe it had actually happened after 10 months trying.

When I eventually get a BFP, I want to get a little box like they put bracelets in in jewellery store and wrap it and tie a ribbon around it and give it to do as a gift
