Quite similar to others - we have a waterproof mattress protector and I also had what I call a wee mat, which is a large square waterproof protector you'd use on a toddlers bed. I also sat on this in the car. But my waters were broken in hospital first time round, and it will be the same this time if all goes to plan.

Default Preparing for waters to break

We also just bought a king size new ensemble when I was about 30 weeks preg. I went straight to Harris Scarfe and bought a waterproof mattress protector- people thought I wasn't necessary but I don't even notice it there and will keep it on to prevent all sorts of stains on the mattress in future.

DH is hoping water will break whilst I'm on the couch and that it will be covered by contents insurance so we get a new couch... I don't like his chances lol

Default Preparing for waters to break

I never thought if an actual mattress protector, we just put a picnic rug underneath (one with a plastic backing) and a towel. It wasn't needed in the end, but I'm now 37 wks with my next baby and haven't put it on yet. I probably should

I think we bought our king size mattress protector from target. My waters broke about an hour after being up in the morning.
