    Default Anyone tech savvy?

    I have an iPad 2 which I have been using for some time, but the are a couple of things I can't work out how to do.
    Firstly, when I read an email from my hotmail and then delete it off my iPad it deletes it from my hotmail account completely, can I change this so it is deleted off the iPad but I could still access it if I used hotmail on my computer?
    Also, how do you insert a document (generally from pages or a PDF on iBooks) into an email?

    I have been trying to figure it out myself but its time I admit defeat and ask for help :-)

    I don't use hotmail but there might be a setting to tell it only to delete from device not server. If not, then you will need to set it up as a POP email account so that it won't remove it.

    As to adding a PDF, there might be specific programs to do this, but native iPad won't. I would suggest if you are using a computer as well as iPad to download Dropbox and sync the things together.

    To stop your emails from deleting from server you need to go to your settings button on the iPad - scroll down to the mail option - this shows the different accounts you have set up - choose the hotmail account and there is an advanced option - choose this and one of the options is Delete from server - set this to never - this should stop them being deleted from your computer when you delete them on your iPad.

    Not really sure about inserting pdf's but I've found if you are looking at a document or picture if you press that little square with an arrow coming out of it - it generally gives you an option to send via email...
