I've had 'shopping centre photos' done by Pixifoto (terrible) and Starshots. The Starshots photos were beautiful but yes very pricey, plus I feel like I want outdoorsy photos this time. I have heard of people getting a cheap photo shoot from people who are just getting started in the business and want to increase their portfolio, but don't know where to look for them? Otherwise there is the photographer that did my wedding photos, they were great but again abit pricey, plus it would be abit awkward going back there LOL.

My mum takes DS shopping and she gets me a pressie. I've never asked or expected a pressie from him of course so its always nice at christmas/birthday/mothers day to have a little somethin' somethin' there from him

I get a present from my mum and dad, and one from FOB..we swap gifts, although I am going to can it this year. I am going to try to not be there..every year since DD was a baby we have spent Christmas together (we aren't exes, flingers, haha) and I think at 4 DD is old enough to spend it there on her own, and I'll come and pick her up in the afternoon. I'll be down the road at a friend's house drinking champagne and eating roast chicken, nom nom.
Well there you go you should organize it I think it would be a nice thing. Its great you guys have been able to have christmas together, will your daughter understand at this age why your not going? Would give you time to yourself though have fun and and enjoy it.

This is my first Xmas as a single parent so I'm not sure. I doubt he will organise anything since we didn't do Xmas presents when we were together but I'm thinking I might buy myself an iPad this year for Xmas 😀

This year the ex brought the kids a iPad he says its for us all. Last year I got a tin of biscuits off my grandma. My grandma gives me $50 for my birthday every year. But my birthday/Christmas/mothers day/Easter are all really depressing.
