    Default advice on personal loans...

    where can i find which bank to go through.. and who has the lowest interest rates? or can someone please tell me of a great bank.. or a bank to avoid... so far anz seems like the best bet and commonwealth seems the worst.

    Is it for a car? If so people's choice credit union have one of the lowest secured rates around

    I like cba but thats me i have everything there.. Just google different banks and check rates but also check the fees along with it because that varies alot from bank to bank.

    Loan fees
    Admin fees
    Early payment fee
    Extra repayment fees
    Redraw ya or no
    Annual account fee

    Still worth looking at some of the credit unions-I know for the sec. Car loan they are often lower, they might be for a normal personal loan as well.

    I'm with cab- having so many problems with them at the moment. I have so much dislike for them and their practices! But plenty of people don't have issues.

    Bank Sa have reasonable rates from memory, and I've never had any issues personally

    Just a heads up...
    Don't go through CBA for a consolidation personal loan. I did it with my ex and ended up getting lumped with the whole loan when we spilt up despite appealing to have it split and applying for hardship. They have been total w@nks.
