A big to everyone. How is everyone going?
NAT256 and Vivre how are the girls going? Are you both getting plenty of sleep and have you worked out a routine yet.
AFM I am feeding on demand and E has settled down and not doing frenzy hours in the middle of the night. last night we where up at 11pm and 3am and the night before was 12am and 4am. So I am getting plenty of sleep. Just need to remember to go to sleep when E does. I also went to the GP yesterday and it looks like I have in infection on the c-section scar and I am on antibiotics.

Hi Samarasmum - I'm also demand feeding at the moment to fatten our little ones up. They go anywhere from 2 1/2 to 4 hours and average 3 hours. When one wakes, I wake the other one to feed at the same time (generally if I wait 5 minutes the second one is waking anyhow - they're very in tune with each other). They sleep well at night and go for longer stretches so they seem to have the difference between day and night worked out. We sleep them in a cot in our room at night and during the day they're in the lounge room in a little cocoon together. I don't feel sleep deprived yet, but hubby is a great help too. He goes back to work next week so that will be a test. I'll try to juggle the girls a lot more myself during the night so he can rest more. I can do it alone as I did it in hospital myself, I've just taken advantage of having him around while I can! We're in a pretty good routine but our difficult time is late afternoon and evening - do you find this? Apparently it's common. They feed more often and don't settle well between feeds. The midwife said it's cluster feeding though and is the reason why they're so good at night, because they're filling up ready for longer sleeps. That's made me feel better!! Thanks for the updated list Samarasmum. Can I be pedantic and get a correction made to ours when you have a chance? It's Elsie, not Elise. So nice to see babies appearing on our list. I look forward to reading of more soon!!
