    Default I know this may sound dumb but.... and what else could this be??

    I'd get it checked out by the gp. If you are pregnant you would be more than 15 weeks, so your uterus would be easily felt by the gp.

    As hcg gets very high the hpt can become lighter, it is called the hook effect. But it never becomes totally negative.

    hCG levels drop dramatically after about 10ish weeks, but there is always a very low level throughout the remainder of the pregnancy. I think that HPT's will pick up these levels even though they are quite low.

    I've seen that show I didn't know I was pregnant where people have gone full term even with fertility issues.
