I used to be like this when I was 17-18.. My mum spent about $400 on birkies for me (she has worn them for years)! I ended up giving them to her lol. They do take a few days to soften I will say that because your so used to being in havianna's or what not.

But hey? Who ever thinks a german girl is ugly in birkenstocks

not sure what size foot you have but they have a sales section
Thanks for this! I'm getting a new pair now.

Also after looking at them all I really struggle to see why everyone thinks they're ugly... They're gorgeous! What does everyone who thinks they're ugly wear instead?

    Question!

Are these shoes/sandles specifically for people with flat feet/foot issues?

And do you wear the ones with the two big straps across the foot of the thong looking ones?

I have been wearing Fit Flops for a couple of years and they are great but I need better arch support as my knees are going to hell and the physio said I have to wear shoes with arch support. I hate wearing shoes all the time as my feet get hot but if these have arch support then it would be good for me.

Where do you find the Papilios and Gizehs in Australia??? I've only ever seen the two-strap sandals and thongs in the shops...
