    Default Seeing first heart beat?

Hey dr I sending me for my dating scan next week. He said he thinks I'm about 5 weeks now and I might be able to see a heart beat by Monday at the scan. Just wondering if six weeks is the norm to be able to see it? Sorry if its a dumb question.

From 6wks on is normal yes - sometimes at that stage it's very faint, but should be able to hear/see it

You should be able to see a nice heartbeat by internal scan at 6 weeks definitely.
