Hi. Am 28 weeks pregnant and have thrush for the 3rd time. 2nd pregnancy and have never had thrush before so not sure what else to do apart from Dr advice of canestan pessaries and cream.
One website said to take probiotics as well and avoid all yeast products. My Dr said 'canestan will sort it out' but I really dont want it again...esp coming into the warmer weather.

Re: Thrush and probiotics
Oh I feel your pain, I had it so bad with my summer baby. I took double doses of probiotics, cut down on sugar, yeast etc, dont stay in wet togs - I had to wear a liner due to discharge so made sure it was always dry. But yes, the pessaries did work but I did have to use more than 1 course. Yuk!
