    Clucky - congratulations!
Sariele - Great to hear you have one to transfer, I'm sending you lots of luck
Torie - Welcome & good luck with your FET today
SaraTTC - I have heard similar stats, but as I understand it the benefit is that you end up with the strongest emby because the weaker ones will drop off.

I had my EPU this morning. We got 8 eggs. It is the same result as last time which is really disappointing as I was on a lot more gonal f this time to try and up the numbers as only one fertilised last time. I feel like i've lost all my hope today even though we still have a long way to go before we know the outcome of this cyle. I really just wanted a couple extra to feel as though we were improving on the last cycle, instead i feel like here we go again

Sarattc my fs told me 40% of fertilised eggs make it, I got 2 out of 2 though.

Maggieme - don't get too upset yet. The extra Gonal-F might have helped these 8 to be more mature so you could end up with 7/8 fertilizing this time. All is certainly not lost and 8 is a great number - I only got 5!

Not terribly excited or happy, but definitely better than nothing!

I got low numbers too but just remember quality over quantity. Hope you get a a BFP this month!

Sarattc - sadly this seems to be the odds in most cases.

We had 23 eggs at EPU, 17 mature, 14 fertilised, 12 made it to day four, by day five (yesterday) only 2 good for freezing. Might be a couple more today, this is their last chance. Keep telling myself I only need 1 but all that effort for only 2 seems crazy.
