Congratulations Deb01 and familyinthemaking the wait to see how they go is killing me, so nerve racking when it's now completely out of your control.
I just called and was told that they are currently working on my file so will have to call me back. Sitting here watching the time tick by hoping that they are all good for freezing today.
Fingers crossed for everyone and congrats on all the BFP's, gives me so much hope that one will work for me.
Anyone been through a FET? As I'm not very well they are going to freeze all this time instead of doing a day 5 transfer so I was wondering what is involved in a FET, obviously there is some sort of preparation to be done before transfer but not as full on as a full cycle.

jth1982, I'm doing a FET cycle just now, in line with my natural cycle. I was in for bloods CD11-15, with a scan also on CD12 to check the endometrium. Final bloods yesterday to be sure I have ovulated. FET today then the usual waiting. No jabbing at all. In fact it all seems a bit unreal. My FS says if you have a regular cycle they will almost always do FET with no additional drugs because your body is preparing itself for pregnancy. Oh and progesterone pessaries from CD16.

January / February IVF cycle buddies: Lucky 2013!
Familyinthemaking, I had epu last week, 4 eggs, 2 fertilised, 2 blastyocysts, 1 transferred yesterday and 1 on ice. I was devastated with 4 eggs, then 2 embryos, but wrapped with the end result!

Jth1982, do they think you have ohss and that's why they won't transfer?
I wish you have them at home and watch them grow! Or even a live webcam to the lab so you can check in yourself. I'm going a bit crazy with nerves I think.

Bad news from the lab. Neither of my embryos have started compacting yet, and they should have by now. Will find out first thing tomorrow whether or not I'm having a transfer.

January / February IVF cycle buddies: Lucky 2013!
Thanks ladies. I asked the lab if I can try thawing my day 6 blasty from last cycle if neither of these two make it. They have approved that as an option, so I might get a transfer anyway, provided it survives the thaw (not holding my breath on that one either!).
