I'm 27y.o with PCOS and potential Focal Nodular Hyperplasia (FNH). Having another liver ultrasound soon to confirm. TTC #1 however I don't ovulate so my fertility specialist will be suggesting Clomid. However, I've read you cannot take Clomid if you have liver disease/liver problems.
Has anyone else had liver and ovulation problems? If so, what treatment was recommended for TTC, other than Clomid? Alternatively, has anyone had FNH and still used Clomid? I also have consistently elevated GGT levels.
I'm concerned my FS and liver specialist don't know enough about the interaction issues with liver and fertility treatments. I was keen to start taking Clomid until I found out about my liver issues and reading that Clomid is not recommended in these cases.
