Tips for keeping mice out?!

I feel your pain, we keep getting mice, drives me nuts!!
Dh had all these fancy traps, but the best ones are the grey ones with big claw looking teeth. Just from bunnings.
They also hate steel wool, so we blocked up a gap where our heater is.....stopped them for a few months but now they have found a small hole in the wall behind out tv where our heater used to be! Dh will be stuffing with steel wool and fixing this weekend. Going to get some of those wall blocker things for the bricks too.
