Default How often should newborn poo if FF

    Hi ladies,

Just wondering how often bub should be pooing if they are fully Formula fed? My DS is 4 weeks old & goes every second day & I thought this was ok but when I was chatting to my mum & she said that wasn't enough.

It's fine! As long as he seems comfortable and it isn't too firm when it appears as that means he may be constipated.

As kw said I was told that it wasn't how often they go it was the quality of the poo. If it is soft and not like plasticine then it is fine. I heard a story of a bf baby that took 21 days!!! Not sure i would wait that long personally but every second days is fine. Oh and my ds is formula fed as well.
