    I read an article that had quotes from Islamists and Republicans and you had to pick who said it. It was a challenge. The Republican extremists seem to have a lot in common with people like the Taliban when it comes to women. Vile.

    There was also the guy who said something about slavery not being too bad which was also frightening.

    As I know you know, slavery is an accepted practice in the Bible so if they are hard-line Christians then they would have to accept that slavery is acceptable.

    Well he's half right. I imagine slavery wasn't too bad for the rich white people of the south. I imagine it sucked pretty bad for anyone of African-American descent though!

    Republicans like that (surely there have to be a few enlightened ones??) are ignorant. And stupid. Pretty lethal combination.
