I find the Braun ear thermometer great too. And you can get the ear cover refills always, they are not a problem to find.

I don't know what model, ours is green and white.

I have the MedeScan touchless thermometer and it is extremely accuate. Local hospitals around my area use them. Great for a sleeping baby/child and also does room and surface (like bath water) temp too.

Thanks MummyJenn - that was the one I was going to buy before I started this tread - it's has great reviews & I like the no touch idea - especially for sleeping babes.

Worth every cent and you don't have to keep buying extra ear covers all the time

Ear ones are great EXCEPT when every temp for past 6 months was due to an ear infection. I couldn't go near my DDs ear to look never mind put something in it. We use a Braun Thermo digital one and get a reading within seconds.

There are also thermometers that are shaped like dummies!!! Pop them in LO's mouth just like a normal dummy, and then it works the same way as any normal digital thermometer. I am getting one when I have bub
