    I find the Braun ear thermometer great too. And you can get the ear cover refills always, they are not a problem to find.

    I don't know what model, ours is green and white.

    I have the MedeScan touchless thermometer and it is extremely accuate. Local hospitals around my area use them. Great for a sleeping baby/child and also does room and surface (like bath water) temp too.

    Thanks MummyJenn - that was the one I was going to buy before I started this tread - it's has great reviews & I like the no touch idea - especially for sleeping babes.

    Worth every cent and you don't have to keep buying extra ear covers all the time

    What ever you do don't buy an omron ear thermometer they are hopeless a complete waste of $80

    Ear ones are great EXCEPT when every temp for past 6 months was due to an ear infection. I couldn't go near my DDs ear to look never mind put something in it. We use a Braun Thermo digital one and get a reading within seconds.

    There are also thermometers that are shaped like dummies!!! Pop them in LO's mouth just like a normal dummy, and then it works the same way as any normal digital thermometer. I am getting one when I have bub
