Default Savings account you can't withdraw from?

Are there any banks that offer a high interest savings account, that you can't withdraw from? So the money is locked away unless I physically go into a bank and sign a form to withdraw it. I'm good at saving money, but after I have a few hundred or thousand in there I always end up withdrawing it for something. I know there are term deposit accounts but I don't actually have any savings to put into it. I need an account where i deposit regularly but can't touch it thanks

I think most banks will offer something like it- you just have to check out the bank you are interested in. You can always refuse a card for the account (or cut it up as soon as they get it)

I have just opened an account with Vic Teachers Mutual Bank (You don't have to be a teacher to use it though!) - it's all internet based and it's called online savings account. I actually wanted to transfer some money out yesterday but couldn't without a password, which I couldn't get without ringing the bank- if that's not safe money I don't know what is!

I've a high interest saver with ING. It's good because it takes 24 hrs to move money, so if I want something, I have to wait 24 hrs and I rarely want something enough to wait!

Another vote for UBank. Great interest rate and 24 hrs to transfer to an account you can access so no way of making a rush purchase. They are part of NAB so have a AAA rating.
