Default Re: Delightful December 2012 testing thread!

I've had a shoulder injury since June, it was a work injury so I am on work cover...seeing as I had my.miscarriage I was able to have an MRI and I had an appt with my orthopaedic specialist who has said I need to have surgery. If I am pregnant this month I guess that's all going to have to go out the window and wait till the baby is born or something.

Has anyone had surgery while pregnant? I wouldn't want to risk the babies life though... I've heard of ladies having surgery during pregnancy at 21weeks

Just had FF confirm O day this morning (now 3 dpo) - but I've realised my testing date of the 1st of December I'll only be 12 dpo - is this going to be too early to test??

I'd really like to be able to confidently know one way or the other that particular day as it's hubby's 40th b'day party that evening!

Maybe try a first response. The early detection kits are about 70% accurate 6days before your AF due date. Obviously the closer to AF you get the better the results though.

Don't quote me on the stats. But I'm pretty sure it's close to that..

12DPO is probably a good time to test. You're likely (although not 100%) to get at least a faint positive if you are pregnant. I'll be testing at 10DPO...actually I'll probably start around 8DPO as I'm impatient!
