i started adding metamucil to my cereal from 12 weeks (2-3tablespoons) it has no taste and i cant even tell it's in there. i really wanted to nip it in the bud early this pregnancy as i sufferd really bad constipation and heamerroids with my first.
It seems to be working. Im now 38 weeks and very regular 2-3 times a day, never had bleeding and dont strain at all.
I drink heapssss of fluids. if i dont have a bowel movement each day, i'll add a tablespoon of metamucil to my cuppa at night, seems to get things moving again.

When do you know it's so bad that you have to go to hospital or something for an enema? X
Other than eating or drinking something I couldn't find a single thing that would help you without having to drink something or ingest a food of some sort
I hope you find relief soon.

Thanks for replying - I don't know what's worse the hyperemisis sickness or feeling sick due to bowels. Not sure if I should just wait it out.

Has anyone out there had to have an enema and know at what point I should b doing something more about this?

I've had both but I have to say that the vomiting wins hands down!
